Feature & Follow #27: Multiple Copies of Books?

Feature & Follow button

Feature & Follow is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read where each host will have their own Feature blog to show off more new blogs!

I only have one book that I have a duplicate copy of and that is Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell! After I read it on my kindle, I fell in love with it~ You can check out my review here! When I saw it was on BookOutlet, I knew I had to grab a copy for myself. Then I saw someone haul the Limited Collector's Edition and I couldn't resist. It's seriously so pretty! Ripple was nice enough to model both books for me ;)

They're also coming out with Special Editions this year for Amazon, B&N and Indigo. I hope I can resist the temptation to get them all!

Do you have duplicate copies of books?

  2. I do have kindle copies and hardback copies of some books, mostly series that my children also love like The Maze Runner, H.P. series and the Percy Jackson series (and spin off) but I "think" that is all I have. I try not to have too many hard copies ever just because I simple don't have the room for them all.

  3. Oh yes, there are some collector's editions that I've been wanting to have duplicates of books for like Fangirl (it's a beautiful cover) and some other's. :)

Happy Reading and Hopping Through! :)

  4. Nice!! I have quite a few doubles myself! And I didn't even picture all of them! Became tiresome digging for all the copies spread throughout the house! LOL! Who'd thought that a FF post would be sooo tiring! And I even thought of the question! LOL!

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT day!

  5. I can understand the temptation Eileen! I used to have two copies of Catching Fire, A Single Shard, and Crossed among other titles before donation to my school library. I still have two copies of HP & the Deathly Hallows, though, because I can't give up HP:P. I love your Fangirl covers, by the way! Thanks for sharing:)

    1. That's so nice of you to donate it to your school library! I agree with you on HP. We can never have too many copies of that ;)

  6. The only physical copies of books I have duplicates of is HP . . . when the new covers came out, I had to get the set, then I brought the old ones to my English classroom for the students to read. But there are plenty of books I have on my Kindle, then bought physical copies for b/c I liked them so much, or the other way around :-) LOVE Fangirl so much. We got to meet Rainbow at LeakyCon this summer!!

  7. I have a LOT of Hunger Games copies. And my plan is, that when I can travel more again, I want to get them in other languages too. The ultimate goal is to have the Australian Luxury Edition. I would be the happiest girl in all the land :)

The collector's edition of Fangirl is SO pretty! I have the Book Outlet one, and I do love the color, but I think I love the pink one more! I don't really know how you're going to resist the special editions!

    1. Now I have to google this gorgeous edition you're talking about! Right after I finish this reply lol.

My favourite colour is pink so there's no way I could not get it ;) The special edition has a lighter pink and you're right. How am I suppose to resist?!?!? :S

  9. I usually end up with multiple copies of books I haven't read yet because I forgot I already bought them. But sometimes I do buy other formats on purpose. Like if I own the print or ebook I'll buy the audio, or if I own the arc and loved it I'll usually buy the print or ebook.
