Goodreads Summary:
Despite what her name might suggest, Heart has zero interest in complicated romance. So when her brilliant plan to go to prom with a group of friends is disrupted by two surprise invites, Heart knows there's only one drama-free solution: flip a coin.
Heads: The jock. He might spend all night staring at his ex or throw up in the limo, but how bad can her brother's best friend really be?
Tails: The theater geek...with a secret. What could be better than a guy who shares all Heart's interests--even if he wants to share all his feelings?
Heart's simple coin flip has somehow given her the chance to live out both dates. But where her prom night ends up might be the most surprising thing of all...

Review
Cute cute cute!! This was a quick and light read with funny interactions between the very lovable characters. The two scenarios were interesting but can be confusing to follow. I did give up trying to differentiate between the two.
What an absolutely adorable group of friends!! I admire Heart a lot. She has her rule but she's also open to advices and criticism from her friends. She's a great gal for accepting Ryan wholeheartedly with no reservations. Schroeder is so cute calling her by organ nicknames. Right away I knew he was flirting with her. I love that nobody was judgmental towards Ryan coming out. Everything about this book was cute except Phil. He definitely wins the douchebag and asshole brother-of-the-year award.
One thing I felt like there wasn't really closure for was Heart's desire to change her name. Since she kind of believed in fate at the end, does that mean she'll leave her name alone? I think it's a cute name and fits her perfectly.
No matter what your choices are, they will lead you to the same outcome because it's just meant to be. If you're looking for a short and fun contemporary to read, look no further! This is your book!!
Wonderful review Eileen! This does sound cute. Well, besides Phil the douchebag. Lol!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on starting your blog. I followed you via GFC & Bloglovin. :)
Thank you!!! It was a fun read except for Phil, haha :)
DeleteI don't generally read romance, but this sounds cute. Thanks for the great review.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by!
DeleteI liked Ask Again later too. The I loved the Schroeder thing too, but I found it frustrating too. Not in a bad way though, I just wanted to tell Heart to open her eyes and get her life together.
ReplyDeleteI 100% agree with you!! Heart was frustrating but we forgive her because we enjoy a good romance :P
