Goodreads Summary:
Cinder, the cyborg mechanic, returns in the second thrilling installment of the bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.

Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she is loath to trust this stranger, but is inexplicably drawn to him, and he to her. As Scarlet and Wolf unravel one mystery, they encounter another when they meet Cinder. Now, all of them must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen Levana, who will do anything for the handsome Prince Kai to become her husband, her king, her prisoner.

Review

Marissa Meyer has an uncanny ability to capture her readers' attention and keep them trained on her storytelling. I had so much fun reading Scarlet! It's an excellent sequel to Cinder!

What I Liked:
- fast-paced

- Scarlet is super feisty with a quick temper that I admire
- the gruff yet gentle (to Scarlet) Wolf
- the chemistry between Scarlet and Wolf <3
- fun twist to Little Red Riding Hood (the wolf is a super soldier from the moon!)
- the introduction of Thorne ;)
- Iko as a ship
- more details came to light about Cinder's past
- how the story/characters gradually tie into each other
- Levana is truly despicable

The Not So Much:
-  Nothing!

I love how Cinder's story merged into Scarlet's. Or is it the other way around? No matter, I cannot wait to meet the rest of the gang!
