Review

I experienced a ton of emotions reading Frozen Tides. Among other things, it made me grit my teeth with hatred, bite my nails in suspense, suck a breath in in surprise and clap my hands in happiness.

What I Liked:
- still fast-paced and action-packed
- the somewhat hinted at but unexpected expansion of the world
- I continue to swoon over Magneo and their many confrontational scenes
- Cleo's speech about Magnus
- Lucia's villainy transformation- so different from the girl in the first book
- the friendships between the characters
- the tenuous alliance between Magnus and Jonas
- Nerissa's loyalty and resourcefulness
- many shocking and not so shocking deaths
- the inclusion and casual reappearance of side characters from previous books

The Not So Much:
- what happened to Lys and Felix broke my heart...

My mind is still reeling from the events of Frozen Tides. I hope the story continues to make my head turn because it is damn exciting!

4.5 Cats
