Review: A Curious Tale of the In-Between (Pram #1) by Lauren DeStefano

A Curious Tale of the In-Between

Goodreads Summary:

Pram Bellamy is special—she can talk to ghosts. She doesn’t have too many friends amongst the living, but that’s all right. She has her books, she has her aunts, and she has her best friend, the ghostly Felix.

Then Pram meets Clarence, a boy from school who has also lost a parent and is looking for answers. Together they arrive at the door of the mysterious Lady Savant, who promises to help. But this spiritualist knows the true nature of Pram’s power, and what she has planned is more terrifying than any ghost.

Lauren DeStefano is beloved by critics and readers alike, and her middle grade debut is lyrical, evocative and not to be missed.

ARC August Update #4

ARC August is hosted by the lovely Octavia @ Read.Sleep.Repeat and it is an event where everyone participating reads their ARCs and try to catch up on the ones they've fallen behind on. It can maybe even help bring up your NetGalley ratio!

I can't believe it's already the last week of ARC August! Where did time go? I only managed to finish A Curious Tale of the In-Between this week but overall for ARC August I read these three ARCs! I wish I'd finished more but I'm happy that I have gotten some  time to read at all :)

How many ARCs did you manage to finish in August?

Ripple and I really enjoyed Walk on Earth a Stranger! It was a little different from what I imagined but I really loved the setting and the overall feel of the story.

Next I'm starting A Curious Tale of the In-Between by Lauren DeStefano! It sounds really interesting :D
