Stacking the Shelves #11

Stacking the Shelves button

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews that lets us share what we've added to our shelves.

My fiancé was at the bookstore and he surprised me with this one! I can't believe he remembered the wish list I showed him months ago. I can read The Assassin and the Healer now!

Right after I finished Angelfall I just had to get this one so I know I can read it whenever I want! I'll probably be reading it closer to the release date of the third book!
World After with Ripple
World After by Susan Ee

I've heard so many praises about this book and just look at that gorgeous cover! So I finally caved and got it.

Mini Reviews: The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass #0.1-#0.5) by Sarah J. Maas

I read the individual novellas before this bind up was released so I haven't gotten a chance to read the newest novella The Assassin and the Healer yet. Below are my reviews for the other four fabulous novellas :)

Goodreads Summary:
Discover where Celaena Sarthodien's thrilling saga began Celaena Sarthodien is her kingdom's most feared assassin. Though she works for the powerful and ruthless Assassin's Guild, she yields for no one and trusts only her fellow killer for hire, Sam.

When Celaena's scheming master, Arobynn Hamel, dispatches her on missions that take her from remote islands to hostile deserts, she finds herself acting independently of his wishes--and questioning her own allegiance. Along the way, she discovers friends and enemies alike, and discovers that she feels far more for Sam than just friendship. But by defying Arobynn's orders, Celaena riskes unimaginable punishment, and with Sam by her side, he is in danger, too. They will have to risk it all if they hope to escape Arobynn's clutches--and if they fail, they'll lose not just a chance at freedom, but their lives....

A prequel to Throne of Glass, this collection of five novellas offers readers a deeper look into the history of this cunning assassin and her enthralling--and deadly--world.
