I was super excited to get this book! I've been eyeing it for ages and it was highly recommended so I couldn't resist not getting it anymore. I've already finished and it's so good so I lent it to my cat. I think he's enjoying it ;)
This one's stunning! The title glows gold when it's under the light. I wasn't expecting it to be so huge and heavy but it's got beautiful coloured illustrations inside!
Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods by Rick Riordan
I actually had another book in this order but it came damaged so I had to make a replacement order. I'm still waiting for it to come but hopefully it's on its way so I can show it next week!

Your cat is such a handsome cutie patootie, Eileen! (Pretty please let him know). So glad you (and your cat) enjoyed Angelfall! It was one great read! I hope you get your replacement quick, it sucks when books arrive damaged.

Thanks Naban! I will definitely let him know ;) It totally sucks but the bookseller's being very helpful with everything so I guess it's ok.

DeleteSo many people have told me that ANGELFALL was amazing. I have it, but haven't read it yet. I'm hoping to read it soon. My cat, Tiger, ends up in a lot of my posts. Mostly because he's nosy, lol. Last week's StS he made it into the picture, but not this week. Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI love the illustrations in the new Greek Gods book, so beautiful and of course Percy's commentary all all the gods and their stories is pretty fun too.

Yep I couldn't believe its size when I first saw it but I guess there's bigger room for the pretty illustrations :) I hope you get to read Angelfall soon!

DeleteOmg yes. I finished World After and then just sat forlornly for awhile wishing the third book was out. And then I added books 3,4,5 to my to-read pile on goodreads, lulz.

DeleteI really loved Angelfall too!! It's the best angel book I've ever read so far. ;-) I would also like to read some more of Rick Riordan! I've only read one of his books so I'm pretty far behind, right?! ;)

I'm excited to get into World After but probably not until it's closer to book 3's release date so I don't have to wait as long haha. The PJO series is pretty awesome! I especially enjoyed the last 2 books :)
