Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish where people share their top ten things according to the topic of that week.
4. The Archived by Victoria Schwab
I've never been part of a book club before so I'm not sure what it's like. I imagine it's a place where I can discuss books with other people? I'd definitely pick books that I can gush and rave about and series that I can talk theories about. Oh and we can all share our cover lust lol.
5. Angelfall by Susan Ee
6. Falling Kingdom by Morgan Rhodes
7. The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson
8. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas
9. Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
10. Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen
Which books would you like to read with a book club?
I'm the same as you, I've never been in a book club, but it'd be so nice to have a group of people reading the same thing and chatting about it :D
ReplyDeleteI picked both Throne of Glass and Angelfall - I love both books, and it'd be really nice to chat about them with others. And Poison Study! I was thinking about including it, in my own list, but then I changed my mind last minute (oops!) Great list, Eileen!
Right?!? I think that's why Twitter is such a great place for bloggers! We can gush on and on and people will join in if they want to ;)
DeleteThe Archived is a great choice, I didn't think about that one. I haven't read it yet, but it sounds so interesting. I loved Rebel Belle! The other books, I'd DEFINITELY love to read with a book club. Great picks!
ReplyDeleteMichelle @ Michelle's Minions
My TTT
Oh oh you need to read The Archived and The Unbound!! Then we can talk about them :D
DeleteOh wow! Oh wow! Total gushing happening!!! I LOOOOOOOOVE Poison Study! I love all Maria's books because they are just so freaking awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteKiss of Deception was amazing! Falling Kingdoms is incredible!!! I adored Angelfall!
And I STILL MUST READ Stolen Songbird and Rebel Belle! Needless to say I'd join your book club!! LOL!
Here's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
YAY!! We'll be the founding members lol~ Maria V. Snyder is brilliant! Every book I've read by her I absolutely adore :D
DeleteI LOVED Throne of Glass! Celaena is now one of my favorite female heroines ever. I really liked how tough and skilled she was, but how simultaneously she loved books, fashion, and playing piano. She was so genuine and multi-dimensional. I also want to read To All the Boys I've Loved Before badly. Love the list, Eileen:)
ReplyDeleteClaire @ Cover to Cover
Yes!! Celaena is so kickass but girly at the same time, you can't help but love her! I think favourite heroine is one of the topics coming up. We all know who's going to be on that list now right ;)
DeleteI've read Angelfall and To All the boys I've loved before. I think Angelfall would be a good book to discuss at a bookclub. I'm intrigued by Poison Study.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! There's so many things we could discuss about Angelfall~ I love everything about Poison Study! I hope you give the series a try :D
DeleteThe Study series is so great! You should definitely read it soon :)
ReplyDeleteYou can find my list here : Cucie @ Cucie reads
I have read them! That's why I chose it so we can all gush about the story :D
DeleteI would gush with you over Throne of Glass, for sure.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
Yes yes let's gush!!
DeleteGreat choices! I think it would be so much fun to be a part of a book club and discuss books each month.
ReplyDeleteYES! I wish I have people around me that I can form a book club with :(
DeleteAh -- I planned to do this TTT but was thwarted by the temporary downing of Photobucket and the fact that I didn't know what day it was. I am doing the post tomorrow!
ReplyDeletePS Am about to read The Archived, recommended by my book club as they've already read it...
Jen @ YA Romantics
Ahhh so fun to be in an actual book club!! I envy you~ I'll definitely be stopping by tomorrow! I vote that you read The Archived too :D
DeleteThis is the second list I've seen Angelfall on today! Maybe I need to give that one another look...
ReplyDeleteHere are my Top Ten!
I'd love to chat when you've given it a try!!!
DeleteAhhh, yes, I loved To All the Boys I've Loved Before. And The Kiss of Deception. And Maas's books. I'll be reading Stolen Songbird next, as per a friend's recommendation! :D
ReplyDeleteAlyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Weeee I hope you love Stolen Songbird!! I LOVED it :D
DeleteI think a book club would be fun, if it was low key. I need to read SO many of the books on your list! I did love To All the Boys though! And the cover for Love Fortunes and Other Disasters may be my favorite book cover of all time. And that is saying a lot! Great list!
ReplyDeleteYep I think I'd be too shy to speak up if the book club grew really big :P Doesn't it have the cutest cover ever?! I included it just so we can gush about it lol :)
DeleteGreat choices! And if you want to join a virtual book club, I'm part of a quite awesome one, the Readers Lounge! ;)
ReplyDeleteWoooo I'm going to look that up! Thanks for letting me know Pili~~
Delete1 3 5 8 and 9 you have to read not matter what okay?! They're absolutely amazing! I'd totally want to read The Archived in a book club as well. I've been hearing great things about it ever since it's release!
ReplyDeleteYes yes I have read most of them and loved them!! I'd love to discuss The Archived with you if you ever read it and want someone to talk to :D
DeleteI really NEED to read Throne of Glass already!
ReplyDeleteI really hope you do soon!!
DeleteGah! You've listed so many of my favorites! I can only imagine though, how incredibly fun Angelfall would be in a book club setting :D Great post Eileen!
ReplyDeleteWe'd talk about the creepy 'things' and Penryn and Raffe ;)
DeleteI'm more obsessed with Penryn's mom! Ha ha XD
