Goodreads Summary:
She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy... Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice... even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.
...and it’s going to be oh so good.
All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn't take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn't going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

Review
This was an impromptu read because I saw lots of raving reviews and boy were they not wrong! The Deal conveyed important messages but it was also fun and steamy in all the right places ;)
Hannah is beautiful and smart. What I love most about her is how upfront she was about her past. What she went through was traumatizing. The way she and her parents were treated afterwards was disgusting. And sure she still lives with some shadows of the rape but she absolutely does not let any of that get in the way of her living her life. You go girl!
Garret and his mouth. It's truly amusing how confident and cocky he is. I have to say he does has a right to be though. Not only was he sweet and caring towards Hannah, he was patient and supportive in so many ways. Find out for yourself ;)
Hannah and Garret were definitely perfect for one another no matter how far apart they were in social terms, him being sporty and her being artsy. They have such a positive influence on each other you can't help but love them.
I really enjoyed this one and will be jumping into the next book right away. I cannot wait to read the other guys' stories :D

Goodreads Summary:
He’s a player in more ways than one…
College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.
Now he’s going to need to up his game…
After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.
After really enjoying The Deal, I jumped straight into this second book and yep, it was just as great as the first one ;)
I was so very wary with how The Mistake started off. If you've read it, you know what I mean. Thankfully, things didn't get messy and went in a very believable direction. The timing and flow of events all made sense.
Grace is really awesome. She's shy but not to a super awkward point. She rambles when she's nervous which I found very realistic and endearing. I love that she held her ground and didn't immediately jump back into Logan's arms after his confession. The things she got him to do were cute and delicious~
Logan was the unrepentant playboy. He was sort of a tortured soul, lusting after his best friend's girl but I had my doubts when it came to his feelings for Hannah. It was a really sucky position to be in and to read about but luckily, Ms. Kennedy handled it expertly. As it turns out, Logan was just very lost. Once he sorted out his feelings, he was much more likeable.
The slew of side characters were freaking adorable. From Garret and Hannah to Tucker, they were all so supportive of Logan. Then there's Grace's awesome mom. She reminds me a little of my mom with her bubbly but caring personality. She's the best!
Duncan's story is next! He's probably the biggest manwhore out of all the guys so I'm pretty curious to learn about him. If I had to guess, Sabrina will be his love interest. Their hostility towards each other was off the charts but why?! I want The Score now!
