Review
It's not Christmas but hey, the title says For All Seasons so I dived into this one once I finished A Good Debutante's Guide to Finish which I very much enjoyed ;)
Violet's a debutante with a penchant for romance. She's inexperienced but determined not to have her life set up. Her resolve wavers when she meets Will for the first time. It continues to be tested as she comes into contact with him several more times. She was ignorant in pretending problems will work itself out if she didn't pay any attention to them. I was really frustrated with how she kept telling herself Will only wanted her because she was an heiress. Throughout the story she held her own against him so why couldn't she have been more confident too?
I loved Will's persistence and he did so without being forceful. He gave Violet space to think and make her choice. Only when it became apparent that she wasn't very forthcoming with her feelings, did he slightly nudge her intosome action. I love the cat and mouse game they played as he called her out on deliberately avoiding him. Getting stranded together was oh so delicious and the cabin scene was just scorching hot!

The ending was a little abrupt but I'm so looking forward to more in this series! I love the intensity in each of the stories so far. Aurelia and Max are up next and they're just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off ;)
Even with the abrupt ending this sounds like a good read!
ReplyDeleteIt was quick but steamy ;)
DeleteSo you've been bit by the historical romance bug, have you? It's only a matter of time... ^.^

DeleteThis sounds like the quick historical romance read for when the bug for it bites me next! I'll keep it mind!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review Eileen!
