Goodreads Summary:
In this hilarious romantic comedy, USA Today bestselling author Jenny Holiday proves that what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas...

All’s fair in love and war
Wendy Liu should be delighted to be her best friend’s maid of honor. But after years spent avoiding the bride’s brother – a.k.a the boy who once broke her heart – she’s now trapped with him during an endless amount of wedding festivities. Luckily she’s had time to perfect her poker face, and engaging Noah Denning in a little friendly competition might just prove that she’s over him for good…

Noah Denning is determined to make his little sister’s wedding memorable. But it seems Wendy is trying to outdo him at every turn. Challenging each other was always something he and Wendy did right, so when she proposes they compete to see who can throw the best bachelor or bachelorette party in Sin City, Noah takes the bait – and ups the stakes. Because this time around, he wants Wendy for keeps. And when you’re fighting for love, all bets are off.

Review

It Takes Two was such a compulsive read! The first book in the Bridesmaids Behaving Badly series wasn't my favourite but this sequel had me devouring it up. A friends-to-lover story done right.

I really enjoy Jenny Holiday's writing. It Takes Two was so easy to read I was half way through the book before I even realized it. The progression of the story and the characters' interactions were so natural. Even the atmosphere and the mood perfectly executed the story.

I love when characters have a past. They make the best of stories and needless to say I was hardcore rooting for Wendy and Noah to get together. I'm highly amused with how she's managed to avoid him over the years. It took skills and dedication which she definitely has. Noah, on the other hand, was a little slow on the uptake but he does make up for it.

Wendy and Noah were very sensible at hashing out their past and acknowledging their growing relationship. I found myself not minding the miscommunication they had when they were younger. The effortless back and forth banter and challenges between them was my favourite. Both intelligent people working in the same field you couldn't not enjoy their competitive nature. And it led to some truly hilarious debacles and hotness so what's not to love? ;)

Thoroughly enjoyable It Takes Two brings the laughter and the steam. The accuracy in the cover models deserves a mention because it's much needed and appreciated! Now someone please hand me Three Little Words because two words: Gia Gallo.
