Goodreads Summary:
Welcome to the world of the Grisha.

Kaz Brekker and his crew of deadly outcasts have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn't think they'd survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they're right back to fighting for their lives.

Double-crossed and badly weakened, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz's cunning and test the team's fragile loyalties.

A war will be waged on the city's dark and twisting streets - a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of the Grisha world.

Review

Crooked Kingdom was one hell of a finale! Such a banging finish to the Six of Crows duology. With the exception of one heartbreak, I loved everything about this book. I am just speechless and so in awe of Leigh Bardugo's talent.

What I Liked:
- all of Kaz's schemes were brilliant
- unpredictable twists sand turns
- the found family feel between the six MCs
- I swooned for all the pairings!
- every little thing Kaz personally and quietly did for Inej omg
- the bandage scene
- Matthias and his encouraging words for Nina
- Jesper and Wylan supporting each other
- Wylan growing a backbone and shoving it in his father's face lol
- the father and son bond between Jesper and his Da
- Colm Fahey braving it for his son
- Kuwei had a comedic effect on the crew when they're not surrounded by danger
- Rotty and Specht deserve gold metals and more for their loyalty!

The Not So Much:
- there was one death too many... *wails*

"Sometimes the trick to getting the best of a situation was just to wait. If you didn't like the weather, you didn't rush into the storm- you waited until it changed. You found a way to keep from getting wet." (p. 182)

"...but maybe being brave didn't mean being unafraid." (p. 203)
