Review

So, This is Christmas warmed me the more that I read. Full of fun mishaps and a cutesy love story in Christmas (not just the holiday!), this book had a side of seriousness too.

Picking up So, This is Christmas, I was only looking for a cute holiday romance. Hence it surprised me to see how many important topics the story covered too. From dealing with a lack of self-confidence to recognizing parental problems to supporting a loved one's decision to come out or not to sorting through friendship woes, this book had depth. I liked how each part was presented and handled.

Finley and Arthur gave me some good chuckles. They were so awkward together (in the beginning), they were charming to read about~ Their relationship was fraught with tension and challenges but each bump felt authentic. The development of their status from schoolmates to friends to more was careful and wonderful.

I love picking up books that are holiday-themed so So, This is Christmas was the perfect read leading into the winter holidays. It made me quite nostalgic but also extra pumped for Christmas to come!
