Goodreads Summary:
Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .

Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it’s in the streets . . . or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she’s beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he’s been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he’s just coming along to keep her safe-but what’s not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.

Jack can’t get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack’s troubles are catching up to him, and he’s forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm’s way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she’s willing to let love in . . . and how much she already has.

Review

Of the Fating Fate books I enjoyed Right Kind of Wrong the most! Jack and Jenna were not my favourite characters from the series but I consider their story the best out of the three. The plotline was way more intense than I originally thought it would be. Intense in a good way.

I love a girl who can hold her own and that's definitely Jenna! She's bossy and bold but she's real because she's not without flaws. She was greatly affected by the hardship of being raised by a single parent. Her dad walking away when she was little interfered with her ability to believe in love. I understood her reluctance to let Jack in but I didn't really appreciate her stubbornness. She was dishing out love advices to her best friend when her actions say she doesn't really believe in love herself.

Jack on the other hand, had been very honest and patient with his feelings for Jenna from the start. He was terrified his past might scare her away but he never lied to her or refused her. And wow does Jack have quite the past. My guess was pretty accurate but that didn't take away from the thrill I felt for where the story went. I sweated alongside him when I thought his and Jenna's lives were in danger.

Jenna and Jack indulged in some very sexy scenes. It was especially full of raw emotions from Jenna's POV. Read the book to experience it for yourself ;)

A minor problem I had with the storyline was how the issue with Drew was handled. It was very easily settled. Logically it made sense but I would've liked to see some more action if that was possible. Finally, the birds are singing to my ears because Jenna finally chose a side on her conflicting feelings for Jack. Leave it to Ellen to help her recognize what she's known from the beginning.

The relationship and the drama in this book were intense but Right Kind of Wrong was unquestionably an enjoyable read. The emotional turmoils the characters went through balanced just right with the steamy times they shared. If NA is your type of read, make sure you pick this one up.
