Review

Addictive is the first word that I'd use to describe My Temptation. The story was a bit long but the characters and their interactions kept my attention. Also, gossipy neighbours make for the most entertaining reads ;)

My Temptation had its ups and downs. I enjoyed reading about Juliet and Henley. They had chemistry and their compatibility was undeniable. However, it was kind of annoying hearing her constantly saying so. Same with the word "infuriating" and the action of "rolling their lips". Sure, they sound sexy but the repetitive usage grew old very quickly. The story (and the characters) could've done with fewer of these!

Whether they were being intimate or not, Juliet and Henley were on fire. But their relationship was quite unhealthy (bordering on toxic). Henley was sometimes sweet, other times a complete dominating a**hole. Even though he had his reasons, I wish Juliet was less understanding. With the number of cold shoulders he gave her, she should've given him a harder time when he came barreling back into her life. I would've made him grovel more!

Whether it was Juliet and Henley together or the two of them with their friends, My Temptation was full of sexual innuendos and dirty talks. I loved the unabashed way the friends talked amongst themselves. Their teasing was especially amusing!

I'm looking forward to which eligible bachelor on Kingston Lane is next. From the hints in My Temptation, I can tell that any of their stories will be white hot and great fun ;)
