Stacking the Shelves #77

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews that lets us share what we've added to our shelves.

I bought some books before the holidays and I forgot to share them oops! I really want to read The Lumatere Chronicles so I'm buying the hardbacks before they become obsolete. Finnikin is out of stock right now but I only need it to start reading the books!

A Book of Spirits and Thieves by Morgan Rhodes

Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta

This one was sent to me for review. I think it was delayed at the border because it took the longest time to get to me lol... Thank you SMP! I already read it since it's a short one.

Stacking the Shelves #68

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews that lets us share what we've added to our shelves.

A few months ago I made a bet with a very good friend. I ended up winning the first half of that bet so lucky me got two surprise books off my wishlist (Hurray for hardcovers)~ The bet is still ongoing so hopefully I'll get more books XP

The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin

Froi of the Exiles by Melina Marchetta

I won this one from Kate @ Ex Libris. Thank you!

Dream Things True by Marie Marquardt

S&S Canada very kindly sent this finished copy to me for review when they ran out of ARCs. Thank you! It looks really fun, I'm really excited to start it :D

TTT #26: Series I Want to Start

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish where people share their top ten things according to the topic of that week.

This was a topic from last year that I really want to do but missed out on because I went on vacation. I thought this would be a great chance to do it so here it is now! I really want to read these series at some point. Some of these I even own so I have no excuse to not read them! I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I finish some of these in 2015!

1. Something Strange and Deadly trilogy by Susan Dennard

2. White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter
3. Blood of Eden trilogy by Julie Kagawa

4. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater
5. The Lynburn Legacy by Sarah Rees Brennan

6. The Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken

7. Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi

8. The Fifth Wave trilogy by Rick Yancey

9. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

10. Lumetere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta

Which series do you want to start?

TTT #22: Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish where people share their top ten things according to the topic of that week.

This list was super easy because I just looked at my Wish List. I have more than one list and I keep changing my mind and juggling them around but these are the ones that I really want right now.

I've heard so many great things about this series, I need to read it!

1. Finnikin of the Rock (Lumatere Chronicles #1) by Melina Marchetta

2. Froi of the Exiles (Lumatere Chronicles #2) by Melina Marchetta
3. Quintana of Charyn (Lumatere Chronicles #3) by Melina Marchetta

I have a weird habit of buying books out of order. Somehow I'm missing the first book to each of these series. (Can we please have a cover change for Shatter Me like they did for Throne of Glass?)

4. Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass #1) by Sarah J. Maas
5. The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds #1) by Alexandra Bracken

6. Shatter Me (Shatter Me #1) by Tahereh Mafi

Out of these two books, one's a new release which I haven't gotten around to buying yet and the other I simply need a physical copy to hug because I loved it.

7. Gathering Darkness (Falling Kingdoms #3) by Morgan Rhodes

8. The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

Technically these two books aren't out yet but I'm so excited for them!!

9. A Court of Thorns & Roses (A Court of Thorns & Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
10. The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West

Which books would you want Santa to bring?

'Tis the Season Book Tag

Thank you Johnny @ Burnishbooks for tagging me to do this!

1. Do you have a favorite winter read?

Not really but I just got My True Love Gave to Me edited by Stephanie Perkins so I'm very excited for some holiday short stories ;)

2. Find a book with blue on the cover!

My most recent obsession. SO GOOD!

3. Find a book you'd use as the star on the Christmas tree.

This gorgeous Limited Collector's Edition of Fangirl! I love the colour and it's such a warm and fuzzy book :)

4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation!

Hogwarts. The answer will always be Hogwarts!

5.  Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation!

I'd take Jace WLMH (he's seriously got too many last names and I don't want to accidentally spoil anyone) from The Mortal Instruments series. I think he'll keep me entertained and laughing all the time lol.

6. Name one book on your wish list this year!

Can I just link my Amazon wish lists? Yep I'm going to do it lol. I have two wishlists, the books on Eileen's Wish List are books I really want and the other named Maybe are books I do want but I don't know when I'll get to them. I think right now my most wanted is the Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchatta!

7. Favorite holiday drink, treat, & movie?

Hmmm.. I don`t have a favourite holiday drink but I love hot chocolate. It keeps you warm during the cold days :) My favourite holiday movie would probably be Home Alone. It's a classic and I enjoy it every Christmas :D
