Goodreads Summary:
With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.
Review
After loving Unravel Me, I couldn't wait to continue Warner's Juliette's story in Ignite Me ;P This third and (supposedly) final book didn't have the strongest ending but it did a decent job of wrapping up the major plot points.
What I Liked:
- Juliette's transformation!!
- her training
- becoming in control of her powers
- hells ya to the independent and assertive J
- it was nearly impossible not to fall for Warner
- every one of the quiet but super intense Juliette/Warner moments
- the interactions between the characters (not Adam but most of all Warner)
- never stop talking Kenji~~~
- the sweetest friendship between J and Kenji
The Not So Much:
- Adam's attitude towards Juliette was unbelievable and so not okay
- ending was somewhat weak considering the strong buildup
"And every moment in the world drops dead just then, because they woke up and realized they'd never be as important as this one." (p. 357)
Ugh. I can't deal with this series. I feel sooo betrayed!
ReplyDeleteWere you Team Adam? I was spoiled so I knew where the romance was headed but I did feel Adam's changes happened unbelievable fast...
