TTT #40: Books I Will Probably Never Read

Top Ten Tuesday button

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish where people share their top ten things according to the topic of that week.

I could only think of these but basically I've been meaning to read these books but never got to them. They just keep getting pushed back on my TBR that I'm not sure if I'll ever get to them :(

Black Ice by Becca FitzpatrickWe Were Liars by E. Lockhart
Tease by Amanda MacielMiss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

1. Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick
2. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
3. Tease by Amanda Maciel
4. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

What books do you think you'll never read?

  1. I've already read Black Ice and I thought it was okay. The ending was sort of meh for me. And I've also been wanting to read We Were Liars because everyone keeps talking about how there's a huge plot twist. I will probably read it one day since I actually won a copy of it.

    1. I've been hearing that but the creepy factor kind of overtakes it for me :(

  3. Tease isn't really for me either, or We Were Liars. I did like Black Ice, though. I still haven't read Miss Peregrine yet (I hate admitting that!).

    1. You're one of the rare ones that like Black Ice! That's why it interests me. I want to see which side I'll be on :D

  5. I've heard a lot of hype about We Were Liars, but I still haven't got around to reading it... it's such a short-but-expensive book!

    1. My feelings exactly!! It's only about 200 pages but so it's pricy. Plus I'm scared I'll be disappointed so I never got around to it :S

  7. Oh man, my feelings re: We Were Liars is that you are not missing out, not one bit! (But who knows! A lot of folks liked it.) I wish I could add that to my imaginary list of "Books I Wish I'd Never Read."

  8. How sad is it that I have not read any of these books and own all of them. My daughter loved Peculiar Children and I am rather partial to Ransom Riggs because of his Sherlock Holmes Index. The others I think I could take it or leave it without feeling too guilty, although We Were Liars has been recc'd to me so many times! I need to put up my list! Darnit. Beth @ Perpetual New Girl

  10. Black Ice is one of those that I'll be ignoring because I've read enough reviews to make me feel like the book wouldn't be for me.
We Were Liars I have in my Kindle, so I hope to get to it... eventually.
But Miss Peregrine's... that's one series I intend to buy and read one the last book is out for sure! ;)
