Little Bugger


Ripple says Hello!

Mellow is a post I'll be doing from time to time (mostly on Sundays) just to show off my cat, Ripple, a little bit ;)


Before we adopted Ripple, I thought only dogs get extremely affectionate. Obviously I was wrong. Cats want to snuggle too and they'll bug the hell out of you in doing so! This is what happens when my sister is the only one home and she's trying to study. We call him little bugger even though he's not so little ;)

Ripple's sexy back
"You don't get to study."
Ripple stares
"Ya I'm looking at you."
Ripple acting
"Please play with me...."

He changed position three different times! I couldn't stop laughing when she sent these pictures to me hehe~

      Yes!! It's extremely hilarious cause he just looks so innocent but we know he's doing it on purpose ;)

    Awwwe, what a lil bugger indeed! That third photo is just too adorable for words! He really is saying "pleeeeaseeee pay attention to meeee!!"

    So I just noticed that Ripple has a bobtail! Is he a Manx or a Japanese Bobtail? My mother used to raise Manx and we also had a Japanese Bobtail. Both breeds act a little like dogs. :)

      He's actually neither. We adopted him like this but he lost his tail when he was a stray. The SPCA's not sure exactly what happened but they had to amputate it cause it was too mangled up to be saved :( Maybe he acts this way because he's tailless!

      I adopted a stray a long time ago who had had 1/3 of her tail amputated. It was the oddist looking thing. Ripple's is short and stylish!

    So cute! The last picture made me giggle. My cat used to knock my book or whatever else I was holding out of my hands and wouldn't stop licking my face until I snuggled with him. :)
