The Adventures of Mary Kate and Ashley and the Boxcar children books are some of the first book series I ever read! I'd forgotten about how fun those were until now. I hadn't heard of the Michelle and Stephanie series before, but they look really fun. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha can you tell Full House was a big part of my childhood ;) My sisters and I loved the show and it led us to the book series!
DeleteThese do like they were fun reads!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I had so much fun reading them when I was little :)
DeleteGreat picks! I completely remember the Boxcar Children and I can't believe I didn't know about those Full House books. TGIF forever!! This was definitely a fun prompt today!!

It's really interesting seeing who's read what in their childhood ;)
DeleteI didn't read the Mary Kate and Ashley series but I used to watch all the shows and movies and I loved it. I actually didn't realize they had books too but I'm not really surprised lol
ReplyDeleteI love Harry Potter! I have to reread the entire series soon. I still can't believe it's over :(
Aly @ My Heart Hearts Books
Yes! The show was so good! Too bad there aren't any reruns. I'd totally binge watch it with my sisters haha~

DeleteI used to love The Boxcar Children books! I remember grabbing stacks at a time from the used bookstore, then bringing them back the next week to turn in for store credit.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten Tuesday post!

DeleteCam Jansen was so good! I used to wish I could be like her haha!
ReplyDeleteI used to imagine what it would be like to be her! Can be pretty cool but also scary!
DeleteGreat list. I remember reading The Boxcar Children and the Thoroughbred novels. I didn’t know that there were Full House books. My friend was obsessed with that show, and we always had to watch it when I went to her house after school.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Hahaha sounds like you have an awesome friend! Full House was SO good! Yay for reading the Thoroughbred books! You're the only person I've come across so far who's read them~
DeleteI didn't read any of those books, but I was OBSESSED with the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies as a child! I loved going to the library and getting another one to watch! I don't think I realized that they were no longer that age when I watched it, I think they are 7 years older than me! Old follower!
ReplyDeleteLizzie @ lizziethesarcasticblonde.blogspot.com
Hahaha my sister and I loved them too!
DeleteThe Boxcar Children were something I read when my daughter discovered them. Full House never caught on with us like it did with so many others, but I did sell a lot of those books in the used bookstore I worked in. When I was young, Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew and then later came the Sweet Valley Twins. I actually read The Chronicles of Narnia when I was five and I do adore revisiting them and have with both my children who are ten years apart.
ReplyDeleteVery cool to see how different our lists are and what book choices were made for this Top Ten List. Here is MINE. :)
I never read Narnia! Didn't even know it was a book series until the movies came out. I think I just wasn't that into fantasy books when I was younger. The mysteries with The Boxcar Children were my favourite :)
DeleteI used to love The Boxcar Children. I was part of the club thing they had where they mailed you a new one every month or something like that and there was a little cardboard boxcar that they all went in.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so neat! I just borrowed from the library and occasionally bought a few~
DeleteI've never read any of these books as a child. I was deprived, surely.
ReplyDeleteAwww not too late to try one! The Boxcar Children mystery series I especially loved ;)
DeleteI can't believe I didn't know about the Mary Kate and Ashley and Full House books until now! Just thinking of how much more awesome my childhood would have been if I had read them lol.
ReplyDeleteThe Cam Jansen books sound familiar.. was it about a kid with a photographic memory or am I thinking of another series?
