  1. The Adventures of Mary Kate and Ashley and the Boxcar children books are some of the first book series I ever read! I'd forgotten about how fun those were until now. I hadn't heard of the Michelle and Stephanie series before, but they look really fun. :)

  10. Great list. I remember reading The Boxcar Children and the Thoroughbred novels. I didn’t know that there were Full House books. My friend was obsessed with that show, and we always had to watch it when I went to her house after school.

  11. I didn't read any of those books, but I was OBSESSED with the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies as a child! I loved going to the library and getting another one to watch! I don't think I realized that they were no longer that age when I watched it, I think they are 7 years older than me! Old follower!

  12. The Boxcar Children were something I read when my daughter discovered them. Full House never caught on with us like it did with so many others, but I did sell a lot of those books in the used bookstore I worked in. When I was young, Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew and then later came the Sweet Valley Twins. I actually read The Chronicles of Narnia when I was five and I do adore revisiting them and have with both my children who are ten years apart.

Very cool to see how different our lists are and what book choices were made for this Top Ten List. Here is MINE. :)

    1. I never read Narnia! Didn't even know it was a book series until the movies came out. I think I just wasn't that into fantasy books when I was younger. The mysteries with The Boxcar Children were my favourite :)

  13. I used to love The Boxcar Children. I was part of the club thing they had where they mailed you a new one every month or something like that and there was a little cardboard boxcar that they all went in.

  15. I can't believe I didn't know about the Mary Kate and Ashley and Full House books until now! Just thinking of how much more awesome my childhood would have been if I had read them lol.

The Cam Jansen books sound familiar.. was it about a kid with a photographic memory or am I thinking of another series?
