The answer is nope I don't plan ahead what to read because I'm a mood reader. Even if I did plan a TBR, I'd more than likely deviate from it. So unless the book is a review book, I don't normally plan ahead. My cat's always thinking about what to read though ;)
Do you plan in advance what to read and thank you for coming by!
I have a list of books that I need to read but I still randomly pick from them because like you, I have to be in the right mood to read some genres, plus, I like having options and even if I have two books in the same genre, sometimes one appeals to me way more that day than the other. ;)
ReplyDeleteYep that's exactly me too! Seriously, great minds think alike lol ;)
DeleteThank you for stopping by my blog and thumbs up for reading and blogging!xx
ReplyDeleteNew GFC-lol I forgot to tell this in previous comment.
DeleteNo problem! All bloggers rock~~
DeleteHaha, my cat is also planning what to read next too (if by read you mean rub her face all over while I'm reading). I'm a planner. I can't make decisions about what to read next if I don't plan it out.
ReplyDeleteHappy FF! Old follower.

That's exactly what I mean! They can be so annoying and cute at the same time~ I think it's more productive to be a planner but sometimes I just can't lol.
DeleteHeh heh! I love your cat! So sweet in these pictures! We are the caretakers of my grandpa's cat after he passed away last year. She's mostly evil, though last week when my mom was out of town, she was strangely nice to me! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI plan my books somewhat like! Review books and ARCs are always first, though I did just take a teeny break from them for 1 book! Other than that though I do just decide what book I have in my Mountain of Doom that I really want to read and put it into the week's queue!
Here's my Follow Friday
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Hahaha she was probably feeling lonely! I hope you give her a good pet :)
DeleteYou read crazy fast and pump out reviews like crazy! If only I can be more like you! I'm sure you'll have no problem crushing your Mtn of Doom!
I'm the same way! If I try reading something I'm really not in the mood for then I end up hating it and it takes weeks longer than it should!
ReplyDeleteHere's my F&F!
I hate it when it drags on :( They're suppose to be enjoyable!
DeleteNope! Can't do it! I have tried, but I just can't. I end up getting frustrated with all the books. It's almost like book rebellion or something, I just can't feel pressured to read something. I mean, I do have what I have to read for reviews in the back of my mind, and I will know when I do need to read them by, but I never put anything on a strict list, basically just because it never works for me!
ReplyDeleteThat makes a lot of sense Shannon. You should never feel pressured to do something you love! And as long as you remember about your review books, I don't see why not just read what you want when you want!!
DeleteAWWW, your cat is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Following you via GFC now!
