TTT #21: Top Ten Books I Read in 2014

Top Ten Tuesday button

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by The Broke and the Bookish where people share their top ten things according to the topic of that week.

For this topic, I didn't limit myself to just 2014 releases even though most are. The ones that aren't, were still released within two years. I don't think I need to explain any further since these books are always popping up in my posts haha. Click on the cover for my review or Goodreads :D

  1. Some of these I still need to read but all the others I absolutely loved as well like the West books, Maas, LaFevers, Clare, Hoover and Perkins. LOL, okay, I have read most of them. :P

Great picks and I couldn't agree more with them!

  3. I feel lame because i've only heard of a couple of these books, lol. Granted, i don't generally read a ton of YA. Some of them have peaked my interest though so ill have to check them out!!

    1. No need to feel bad! If YA's not your typical read then you for sure won't a lot of these. I hope you do check some out though :D

  4. Ooh, totally agree with Throne of Glass! I went with CoM and HoF, and I was thinking of adding ToG to the list, but I though adding all three might be going a little too far! (And the obsession I have with the series would be a little obvious *cough* ;) ) I really need to read the Isla! I read Anna this year, and I NEED to continue on with the other two. And Mortal Heart! I read Grave Mercy, and I actually have the second book, definitely need to read it ASAP. Awesome list, Eileen!

  6. I still have to read some of these but City of Heavenly Fire was also one of my favourite reads this 2014. Fangirl and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown didn't make it to my list but the first one could have been a favourite also ;)
I'm dying to read His Fair Assassins trilogy as well as Isla

  10. I really enjoyed City of Heavenly Fire too, although it's City of Glass that made my TTT this week. Stolen Songbird, Fangirl, and Throne of Glass are on my TBR spreadsheet. I'm also really anxious to start LaFevers' books, I've heard good things about them. Anyways, nice picks, and I hope you encounter some more great reads in 2015!:)

  14. I haven't read any of these! What's wrong with me? Gah. I have no excuse to not have read Fangirl or Isla by now because I've owned both for three months now. I haven't read any of Kasie West books, but she's high on my priority list (If I followed it). I was supposed to read Open Road Summer, but never got around to it. I began Throne of Glass but stopped because it was long. *rolls eyes* Such a great excuse. :(

I've heard good things though about most of these books so hopefully I'll read them eventually in my lifetime. :)

I'd link my own list, but er, I'm not sure what code to use. Haha... Great list.

Seriously, I cannot even fathom how much I adore that book. City of Heavenly Fire was awesome and perfect and I'm completely happy with that ending. Simon tho.

    1. They are fantastic!! Aww sad to hear you didn't enjoy Fangirl more. Maybe it's the hype. Eleanor and Park was one of those books for me. It was so loved by all but I thought it was just ok.

  19. I had to limit myself to 2014 releases because otherwise there was no way I could narrow it down. City of Heavenly Fire made my list too! Coldest Girl, Songbird are on my want to read list and I actually have Throne of Glass and the first His Fair Assassins on my kindle. Nice list! :)

  20. Great picks. I LOVE Throne of Glass, I had to have the whole series on my list because they are just too awesome. Ugly Love is another that I read and loved. A lot of the others are ones I still need to get to. I am especially excited to finally find time to read Open Road Summer, I've owned it for months so I seriously need to hurry up and get to it already.
