Thank you to Alma @ Journey Through Fiction and Claire @ Bookworm Reviews for nominating me!
Sorry it took me so long but here are my answers to the questions they had for me!
1) If money was no option, where would you travel to, and why?
I'd go explore Europe! It's just such a dreamy place with lots of landmarks to visit~

2) Physical or eBooks? And why?
Ohh so hard to choose. Physical books you get to pat but ebooks are so convenient. I'm going to have to go with physical books. There's just something about holding that book in your hands while you read.

3) Your favourite bookish couple of all time is…?
Another hard one! Where do I even begin..... I'm going to say Cath and Levi! They're just so adorable together. I love them~

4) Do you play a musical instrument? (And if not, do you wish you had learned to play?)
Yep, I can play the piano and the clarinet. Although it's been a long time since I've played so I might be a little rusty lol.

5) What is the last book you read that gave you all the feels??
For very emotional feels, that would be Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. It was just so full of emotions! For a bursting-to-talk-about-it feel, it would be The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon. I just finished it and OMG it's so good!!!! There's so much to talk about because there's so much to the world, the characters and the story! It's a seven book series and the second one isn't even released yet (Jan 2015 yay!). How am I going to survive the wait inbetween each book?!? Oops I'm rambling now so I'll stop...

6) What's your biggest bookish pet peeve?
Any damage or imperfect to my books. I can be very anal about this. Seriously.
7) Do you DNF books? Why or why not?
I don't think I've DNF a book yet. I believe every book is worth the time because the author put his/her hard work into it. But I totally understand why people DNF books. If you can't go on then you can't go on.
8) Love triangles v. insta-love v. forbidden love. Which is the worst?
Hmmm.... I think insta-love. I like my romance to be believable so when two characters suddenly can't get enough of each other for no apparent reason, I can't take it.
9) Has a book ever made you cry? If yes, what book?
Yes, not to be predictable but it's The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I remember reading it during break at work and the last few chapters just tore me up. I had to look around and make sure no one was staring at me hahaha.
10) If you could live in any book setting, which would you choose?
Hogwarts! It's just so magical!!
I think by now a lot of bloggers have already done this tag so I won't be tagging anybody. Definitely feel free to share your answers to these questions in the comments though! I'd love to hear some of your answers~~
This might be an obvious question but which book(s) are Cath and Levi from?
ReplyDeleteNo worries, they're from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell which I highly recommend :)
DeleteI'm so glad you did the tag, Eileen! I can definitely relate to many of your answers. I would love to visit Hogwarts, even better would be if I was actually enrolled there. I'm still waiting for my admission letter *sigh*. I also favor physical books over e-books; something about holding the object is more appealing than an e-reader or computer. Also, I hate to DNF books. I just can't leave something unfinished; I always force myself to suffer through it, even if I am disliking the book *cough* WITCH AND WIZARD #4 *cough*. Excuse me. Something in my throat.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers:)
Claire @ Bookworm Reviews
Hahaha you're too cute Claire! Ya Hogwarts, those owls are so slow. I check my mail daily just to see if my letter's here yet ;) guess I'm kind of glad I don't know what series Witch and Wizard is *cough cough
DeleteI ADORE CATH AND LEVI AS WELL OMG
ReplyDeleteI tagged you on my Book tag :) http://burnishbooks.blogspot.com/2014/12/tis-season-book-tag.html#more
Aren't they just the cutest ;) And thanks for the tag Johnny!
DeleteI'd choose Middle Earth! Because... Aragorn! Enough said. :)
ReplyDeleteThat would totally be my sister's answer!!
DeleteDefinitely agree on #8. I need to see a relationship develop, even if there's instant attraction...
ReplyDeleteJen @ YA Romantics
*nods head
DeleteHogwarts for the win!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge lover of physical books but eBooks and eReaders are so damned convenient for travelling and also getting them to download at midnight is awesome!
I'll always choose Hogwarts hahaha :) I didn't think of the midnight thing but yes so true!!
DeleteThis is a brilliant tag. I definitely prefer physical books over ebooks, there really is just something about holding the book in your hands. I can't play any instrument, except a few simple things on guitar, so I am jealous you can play two. Ugly Love was definitely full of all of the feels. Yeah, I hate insta-love the most too. Not a fan of love triangles. Forbidden love usually doesn't bother me as much. HOGWARTS!!! YES! Take me there!
ReplyDeleteI love your answer to everything!! Thanks for sharing them! I'll definitely take you if I go ;)
DeleteYay, I love all your answers, Eileen! I took piano lessons when I was a kid, but I haven't played in years! Ohh I'd be so rusty if I tried to play now! But the clarinet?? That's awesome! And I'd choose physical books as well :) eBooks win for convenience, but I love looking at my physical shelves too much to make a permanent switch. And I usually end up forgetting about ebooks! Once they download on the iPad, they sit there for MONTHS before I think of them again, if at all! And YAY for Hogwarts! :D
ReplyDeleteHehe thanks! I know! I just love staring at my shelves :D
DeleteMy favorite bookish couple is definitely Blue Echohawk and Darcy Wilson from A Different Blue by Amy Harmon! Congratulations on the nomination, I loved all your answers!
